Fishers hosts Blood Drive June 7
The 2023 Blood Drive is scheduled and more people can donate as FDA lifts restrictions!
The CT Blood Center (CTBC) will return this year to collect whole blood from volunteer donors to distribute thru the Connecticut and Rhode Island hospitals serving our Island.
The donations will be collected at the Fishers Island School Gym between 9am and 2pm.

Appointments: ALL Made Ahead Online
Participation is welcomed in a variety of ways:
- As a donor
- Host at the door welcoming donors
- Help with the snack time after people donate
- Contribute an item* for lunch for the CT Blood Center staff of 12
16 year olds who would like to donate require parent/guardian permission.

CTBC operates a hospital services blood storage depot from our Connecticut center so we can quickly and reliably get urgent or unexpected orders to local hospitals. CTBC is operated by the Rhode Island Blood Center, a part of the New York Blood Center Enterprises family with more than five decades of experience saving lives by ensuring a safe and plentiful blood supply to the patients and hospitals we serve. CTBC is also part of the National Marrow Donor Program, registering individuals throughout New England to become lifesaving stem cell donors for patients who need a transplant to survive.
