5th and 6th grade students created Mandala rocks for their desks.
Mandala is from classic Indian Sanskrit for "circle" and these patterns
can be seen throughout many cultures. The symmetrical pattern represents
structure and stability while reminding us that we are only one part of
a larger picture. The fifth and sixth grade students are creating their
mandala stones to sit at their seats to help them find their inner
peace and organization of thoughts.
Congratulations to Christina, Mary, Olive, Benjamin, and Jax on their creative work!
