Twelve students from Lake Wales, FL joined Fishers Island School on Monday, October 24th for a week-long exchange program.
Families and students got to know one another better during dinner on Saturday and Monday nights. Lake Wales students have been attending classes since Monday engaging in athletic, academic, and social scenes.
The Lake Wales and Fishers Island students participated in a variety of activities including road painting (a long standing tradition on the east-end of the island), watching scary movies, bonfires, a Halloween dance, and a tour of Yale University. These twelve Lake Wales students will forever hold a place in the heart of Fishers Island and our students look forward to visiting Florida in February!
